Recently, on club penguin, a new code has been released, and is available to all. As it's available to all, it is called a Free Code. The first ever free code was released in August, 2012. A code for the Treasure Book can be unlocked only by one account, but free codes are completely different, they can be unlocked by every account.

- Log onto club penguin
- When you're on a page which you've to select a server, click '' Unlock Items Online '' on your far right.
- Once you've done that, click '' I've got a code ''.
- Type the following code, '' BEARCUBS ''
- Once you've typed the code, a treasure chest will open, and show a Bear Costume icon.
