Club Penguin Times Issue #408

Every week, Club Penguin releases a brand new issue of the Club Penguin Times and today is certainly no exception. This brings us up to 408. Like always, this weeks issue of the Club Penguin Times features a main article, support story, and concludes with the upcoming events column. Each Times issue is written by Aunt Arctic, the newspaper's chief editor, and is released weekly when Club Penguin updates on Thursday. Times issues have articles, helpful hints, jokes, top secrets, poetry, an 'Ask Aunt Arctic' section, and much more for us to read and enjoy. This issue features articles regarding the conclusion of the Star Wars Takeover and the upcoming Teen Beach Movie Summer Jam. Below you can find out all about Club Penguin Times Issue #408.

In the main article Club Penguin talks about fast approaching Teen Beach Movie Summer Jan that is set to begin on the 22nd of August. It's titled 'Surf, Sand, Sun!' and was submitted by DJ Cadence. Wax your surfboards, rev your engines, and throw on your swim suits as it's time for summer fun! Get ready to hang ten as all of this starts next week. And I've got to say, the picture for this article is really cool, don't you think?

Next up we have the Supporting article in which we are informed of the defeat of Imperial forces. Aunt Arctic has congratulated us on our success now that freedom has been restored to the galaxy. The Millennium Falcon and the Rebel Alliance have left to explore the galaxy. However, a small space craft was seen flying away from the remnants of the Death Star. Does this mean that Herbert will make yet another return sometime in the near future? Now that we're safe don't forget to give your puffles a squeeze and enjoy a Stormtrooper-free day.

As in every club penguin times issue, Club Penguin provides a list of this months upcoming events coming up on the Club Penguin island. These lists include upcoming parties, catalogs, and much more. Check out this month's upcoming events which we have listed below.
  • On Now! - Furniture Catalog: Start your own summer party with beach-themed igloo items!
  • Out Now! - Where's the Ruby: Get to the Stage for a suspenseful performance of Ruby and the Ruby!
  • Out Now! - Igloo Music: Head to your igloo and rock out to the latest tunes!

If you flip the page, you should now be on the second and last page of the issue. A continued article written by Aunt Arctic discusses the question of who is Tusk. Did you know there are hundreds of hidden surprises around the island? If you would like one revealed click the folder further down the page labeled secrets. The Club Penguin Times needs you! Send jokes, riddles and questions and it may be featured in next week's newspaper issue!

Which upcoming event from above are you looking forward to the most? Furthermore, what part of the Club Penguin Times issue #408 was your favorite? Let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment in the comments section below, we'd love to hear what you have to say!

Club Penguin Star Wars Takeover Death Star Mission Part 2 Cheats

Its been one week since the Star Wars Takeover arrived and that means a brand new mission has been released on the Club Penguin island. This time we have to infiltrate the Death Star and steal the secret plans. Previously we only had access to Tatooine and the Millennium Falcon and starting next week we can access Yavin 4. Below is our complete tutorial and cheats to the Club Penguin Star Wars Takeover Death Star Mission:

To begin, go to the Death Star using the Rebel Alliance emblem on the upper right of your screen. After doing so click the Death Star and accept the mission by clicking 'Enter the Death Star'. You'll see the following screen:

Upon entering the Death Star you'll receive a message from Princess Cadence which gives us a brief summary of what we need to accomplish throughout the mission.

Before starting onward from the hanger bay you can first check out the Emporer's throne room. It can be accessed from the upper doorway. Now go through the lower doorway and through the next room with the label 'To: Ship Plans' above it. Waddle up to the arcade-like console and hack into the system to complete the first puzzle.

Just like in Operation Blackout, where we had a game very similar to this one, we have to complete a puzzle to continue. It's quite simple and doesn't take long to complete. As you progress through the levels they get more challenging. To complete the game move the security blocks to different sections of your screen (You can do this by clicking and dragging them to different places). Once you have done this in the manner mentioned drag the key into the pass-key lock on the right.

Congratulations, you have successfully completed the first puzzle and unlocked the next level! Four more to go. You can now claim the first prize, an item and 25 coins. Three of the five items can be be obtained by both non-members and members. Click 'Collect' to obtain any of these rewards for your penguin account.

You now have access to the next room which likewise has a level for you to complete. Upon entering this room, waddle over to the following arcade-like console as shown by my penguin below:

When you have finished the second level and claimed your next prize, enter either one of the elevators that'll take you to the trash compactor. This level is just like its predecessor, but more challenging. Here is the location of the third system:

Completion of the third level is just like the first and second. To refresh our memory, here's how to complete the level: To complete the game move the security blocks to different sections of your screen (You can do this by clicking and dragging them to different places). Once you have done this in the manner mentioned drag the key into the pass-key lock on the right.

You'll receive the following message from DJ Cadence as well upon starting the level:

This has to be my favorite room in the Death Star, not just for the trash compactor and likeness to the movie, but for the links to Club Penguin's past and countless secrets. While completing the mission I noted the green buoy with the number 4, one of 10 in total, a rubber duck, one of the original igloo items, and the rocking horse at the ski lodge attic.

Once you have successfully finished the third level you can advance to the next room and system. Waddle over to the doorway on the right and enter the next room. We're pretty much half way done as of now. The fourth level is on the upper right of this room as shown by Oh PP and I below:

The forth level is just as easy as the others and can be completed in a matter of minutes. When you have finished be sure to claim your rewards and exit, one more to go!

The ship plans are located in the next room, access it by entering the doorway on the lower right. The fifth and final level is up on the upper right. This is the most challenging of the five levels, it is beatable though it may take longer than the others. Click the system as shown by our penguins below to get started:

To complete the fifth level,  move the blocks to different sections of your screen opening up space for the key (You can do this by clicking and dragging them to different places). Once you have done this in the manner mentioned drag the key into the pass-key lock on the right.

Once you have finished the final level, the following message from Princess Cadence will appear on your screen in which she congratulates you for a job well done.

Congratulations, you have successfully infiltrated the Death Star and stolen the Death Star plans. Return on the 8th of August, roughly in a week, to fly to the Rebel Base on Yavin 4 and save the galaxy!

That concludes our official Club Penguin Star Wars Takeover Death Star Mission Part 2 Cheats Guide. We hoped we helped. What are your thoughts on the Star Wars Takeover so far? I'm impressed and can't wait to experience the rest of this amazing party. Have you infiltrated the Death Star yet? Leave your thoughts in a comment below.
