Get your engines ready as the Turbo Race 3000 has arrived on the Club Penguin island. As mentioned in an earlier issue of Club Penguin Times, the Turbo Race 3000 is another Club Penguin mini-event that usual lasts a week and has quite a few freebies for our accounts. To participate in the Turbo Race 3000 go to the stadium. While waiting for the race to begin position you penguin avatar behind the starting line and start racing at the appointed time. First one around the track three times is declared the winner.

First things first - the freebies and there's exactly two at this mini-event. The 'Go-Karter Helmet' is up for grabs at the stadium beneath the sign labeled 'Free!'. The item is avaiable for non-members and members.

The 'Go-Karter Jacket' is just for members and is located beneath the member symbol.

Club Penguin Times Issue #458

A brand new issue of the Club Penguin Times has been released. This new issue brings us up to a total of 458 newspaper issues. Like always, this issue was written by Aunt Arctic, the chief editor of the newspaper and the island's favorite news reporter. Each Club Penguin Times issue features a main article, support story, news flash, upcoming events, and much more. The main article in this issue is titled 'Go-Kart Races for Everyone!' and it's written by Gary the Gadget Guy. He talks about the Turbo Race 3000 mini-event currently going on at the Stadium.

He states that with your help, they'll make the go-karts fast and able to withstand time travel, T-Rex, and jelly fish apocolypses (their spelling, not mine!). Sounds interesting. The next article is titled 'Best Fans Ever!' and it's written by Cadence. She says that thanks to your music and amazing energy, we pulled off the "biggest" Music Jam ever. She gives a shout-out to all the performers who performed on the Music Cruise and thanks us for coming to see them.

This issue's News Flash states that there is a heat wave hitting the island.

Reminder: Club Penguin Updates Tonight

It's Wednesday and that means tonight is update night! This is their thirty first update week of 2014. Below is just a friendly reminder that Club Penguin is once again being updated tonight.

And, yes, I couldn't help but make a Titanic reference before the 2014 Music Jam came to a conclusion.

Tonight's updates are minor; however, Club Penguin is launching a mini-event with the wave of other minor updates. Nonetheless, once Club Penguin updates, the Turbo Race 3000 will arrive, the usual newspaper and much more! Here is what you can expect to come upon tomorrow on Club Penguin. They are as follows:

• Club Penguin Times Issue #458
• Perhaps an Elite Penguin Force Message.

Club Penguin Exclusive: Go Kart Races at Turbo Race 3000

Thanks to a good friend of mine, Riyita, I've come across an exclusive sneak peek of the forthcoming Turbo Race 3000. With the release of this month's edition of the Club Penguin magazine, there was included a picture of a penguin in a go-kart with a brief summary regarding the event. As mentioned in an earlier post, the Turbo Race 3000 is another mini-party like the graduation bash back in June. The Turbo Race 3000 is set to begin on the 31st of July and come to a conclusion on the 6th of August. Without further ado, Club Penguin Cheats has provided you with an exclusive picture giving you a glimpse of the Turbo Race 3000.

Club Penguin August 2014 Sneak Peeks: Frozen Takeover & Turbo Race 3000

Every so often, Club Penguin releases sneak peeks in the Club Penguin Times that reveal forthcoming Club Penguin events and parties. In fact, the following sneak peeks have furthered the evidence for a Frozen Takeover and announced the pending mini-party: the Turbo Race 3000. Moreover, there's an exclusive picture with a sneak peek of the stadium during the duration of the Turbo Race 3000. In the previous weeks, we've noticed quite a few hints pointing to a Frozen Takeover and it wasn't until the Olaf puffle made an unexpected appearance in the music video 'Best Day Ever' we were convinced this party will be happening. In the 'Upcoming Events' section of this week's newspaper, there's yet another sneak peek for the Frozen Takeover. With August's edition of the Penguin Style catalog the theme will be 'Pretty cold for the summer...'. On a second note, a mini-party will likewise be happening in August.
